This past week at the teen center has been full of creation, experimentation, and fun! The teens exercised their STEM skills by creating and testing a variety of paper airplanes. They were very successful in getting those planes to fly far!

They also took on a great art project–stained glass window hangings! Using glue, tissue paper, and wax paper, they were able to create beautiful, abstract ‘stained glass’ art.

Springtime is finally here! The trees and flowers are blooming all around town, and the days are getting longer. Teen Center members have been embracing their artistic side as well! Painting seems to be the medium of choice and they’ve been painting on anything and everything (including themselves)!

The Winston Teen Center is so excited to announce our “Paint, Pepsi, and Popcorn” creative evening benefiting the Winston Teen Center.
